Jerusalem Archaeological Park

  • Neil Armstrong traveled to Jersualem and visited the Southern Temple Wall excavations. While he stood on the steps he said, "It is more meaningful for me to walk here, than on the moon." SO COOL!

  • Robinsons Arch, Western wall, Triple Gate entrance, Double gate entrance/ exit, Pinnacle (where trumpets would have been sounded/ where Jesus was tempted by the devil to jump off and have angels save him.
  • Matthew 24 Lord prophesied that, "There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shlal not be thrown down," talking about the stones of the Temple. Prophecy has been fulfilled.
  • John 9 where Jesus exits the Temple and walks down the stairs (that we are standing on!) and finds a blind man. He applies mud to the blind mans eyes and tells him to go wash in the Pool of Siloam (right near the temple).
